Useless DVD Dogs
23 08 2007There’s a great post on MediaLoper about those dogs that were trained to sniff out DVDs and now are apparently after CD-burners (last I checked both were legal to own and ship).
At what point did having a DVD in a package become probable cause for a search? This garbage might fly in Malaysia, but now they’re on there way to the US to “take part in shows and also help in raids on movie pirates.”
If only we had dogs trained to sniff out melamine or lead paint, maybe that would be worth something. Instead this just seems like a gigantic, and invasive, waste of time.
